Grow your own courgettes! Even one plant produces a great amount of fruits. Plants are supplied in an 8cm cardboard fibre pot. Collection from May – we will contact you when your seedlings are ready for collection. In the event of any crop failures we will offer the nearest alternative product or a full refund.
These plants are tender, so only plant them out once all risk of frost is past and soil is warm – early June is best, keep in a greenhouse / a sunny south facing windowsill and pot up if needed in the meantime.
Indoor-raised plants must be hardened off (acclimatised to outdoor conditions) before planting outside in June. Do this by moving young plants into a coldframe for a week. If you don’t have a coldframe, move them outdoors during the day, then bring them in at night for a week. Then the following week, leave them out in a sheltered spot all day and night.
