Happy Roots Farm Garlic

Happy Roots Farm is home to Gaz, Laurenne and our 4 young children and is located just between Clowne and Bolsover in Oxcroft. We bought the farm 4 years ago with the hope of creating a small scale market garden, where we could grow our own naturally without using harmful chemicals / pesticides or synthetic fertilisers – healthy for our bodies, and for the planet!

We grow a selection of salads, fruit, veg, flowers and herbs for ourselves and the individuals who help us work the land, and sell the excess on a farm stand and in local shops.

We practice no-dig regenerative agriculture and are super interested in permaculture – we have planted over 40 fruit and nut trees here to create an edible ‘food forest’ and look forward to being able to share more with our community as we grow.
